I am a solo fractional CFO based in Mill Valley, working with business owners across the San Francisco Bay Area and up into Lake Tahoe. My clients are owner-operators doing $1M to $10M in revenue who want a real financial operating layer underneath their decisions, not just a quarterly accountant.

I came up advising serial entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley on the financial side of running start-ups with limited runway. That work taught me how operations and finance actually move together when the cash clock is loud, and it shaped how I build the function inside every engagement now.

I got the start-up bug early. A landscaping business when I was a kid, a door-to-door sales company in my teens, a travel agency before the degrees came. The bug never left. After working with dozens of entrepreneurs and seeing both failure and tremendous success up close, I founded O’Rourke CPAs to bring that operating experience to owners who were ready to cross their finish line.

I work alongside your bookkeeper. I sit above the books and translate them into decisions: pricing, hiring, working capital, the next major investment.
